Climate Change
The South Australian Tourism Alliance has invested considerable resources in maintaining a clear view of the challenges and opportunities presented to the industry with regard to Sustainability and Climate Change.
As a result SATA, in conjunction with EC3 Global / Earthcheck and the Green Globe organisation have developed a range of programs that will deliver world class practices and initiatives to industry in SA.
This will include:
- Information and Education
- A sustainability business health check, (self help)
- Base level entry to measuring your environmental footprint
- Benchmarking with Green Globe indicators
- Certification and Auditing
Industry Development
There is no greater challenge facing the tourism industry, Australia wide, than the issue of Workforce Development and the introduction of a series of actions that ensure that our industry can sustain a quality, skilled workforce into the future.
